What is the deal with New Year’s resolutions?
The new year is upon us. It is that time of the year that we are all told to reflect on the past year and set goals for the new year in order to change ourselves for the better. But why do we do this to ourselves? Why if we want to make a change do we wait for the new year or next month or next week for that matter? If we have made the conscious decision to make a change, why do we procrastinate with putting it in action? Why don’t we start with the change today? After all, the change that we want to make is for the better so why put it off any longer?
